Destructive (damaging or disintegrating) security labels feature strong adhesive and are printed to be water-, solvent-, weather-, heat-, oil-, scratch-, and abrasion-resistant. They are not damaged by disinfectants, cleaning agents, or solvents. The adhesive reaches its maximum effectiveness 24 hours after application. The main characteristic of the special strong adhesive of the security label is that it cannot be removed or repositioned without leaving traces after application, thereby reducing the risk of tampering. In case of an attempt to remove it, the security label breaks into pieces (destructive, i.e., disintegrating).
